Pratish Patel FCCA
Pratish, a Chartered Certified Accountant, is the practice partner. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He has over 20 years accountancy experience and has worked for accountancy practices both large and small.
Pratish spends a lot of his time advising new businesses on the best medium to use, whether to be a sole-trader, partnership or limited company and on using the best structure to minimise the overall tax liability. He particularly enjoys helping smaller businesses develop and grow from being reliant on their owner to being sustainable entities in their own right.
He also has first-hand experience of the consultancy market having worked for Netscape/ AOL, RSM International and Alliance Boots so he is well equipped to advise clients from both sides of the fence.
Married with two children, Pratish likes to spend time with his young family whilst avidly supporting the more successful of Manchester's two premiership football clubs.

Dean Shepherd CTA
Dean, a Chartered Tax Adviser, is the tax consultant. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He has over 15 years experience working as a tax specialist.
As our resident tax expert Dean gets involved in the more complex tax planning scenarios and developing and tailoring tax strategies to help minimise the tax burden for our clients.
He regularly guest lectures on business start-up courses held at Central Saint Martins College and the London School of Economics. He also co-wrote the tax chapters of Alison Branagan’s book "The Essential Guide to Business for Visual Artists".
Dean is a keen runner and cyclist and can often be found wandering around the office in his cycling shorts and hi-vis jacket.
